DDC Controls

Since 1998, DCS has represented ASI Controls as the eastern North Carolina authorized Value Added Reseller (VAR).  We have designed and installed control systems for HVAC control, energy management, and site monitoring in over 300 facilities.  Those facilities include office buildings, manufacturing, laboratory, medical, schools, and telecommunication.  We also provide design, control equipment and components, programming, start-up, and commissioning to Mechanical Contractors wishing to install control systems associated with their contract using their own forces.  Products include fully configurable programmable controllers, pre-programmed controllers, software, and input/output components.

The ASIC/2-7540 is the most powerful, flexible, and I/O capable controller in the ASI Controls line. Ready to supervise a network of ASIC/1's in a building or sub-network within a large facility, within high point count, multi-zone, green building, and other demanding settings. Suitable for controlling of large equipment and many other applications. Supports Modbus, acting as Modbus RTU master on the local bus. Ethernet connectivity is achieved using off the shelf USB-to-Ethernet converters. The ASIC/2-7540 supports 16 universal inputs (multiplex to 64), 12 binary outputs, and 8 analog outputs. The ASIC/2-8540 is a powerful configurable controller for applications where I/O count does not require an ASIC/2-7540. Capable of handling automation needs for small facilities, controlling devices, supervisory duties, multi-zone and other applications. Supports Modbus, acting as Modbus RTU master on the local bus. Ethernet connectivity is achieved through the optional ETH-8540 plugin module. The ASIC/2-8540 supports 8 universal inputs (multiplex to 32), 8 binary outputs, and 4 analog outputs. (Back to top)

The SINC/3-3000 system interface and network controller is intended for situations where a controller is required for communications, polling or other supervisory duties but no I/O points are required. Suitable for all ASIC/2 applications. Ethernet ready, with four (4) RS-485, and two (2) RS-232 connections. Power, Tx and Rx LEDs provide status Supports network polling, remote point passing, and alarm/event dial-out.  (Back to top)

The ASIC/1-6000 pre-programmed digital controller is an integrated VAV controller and actuator. For pressure-independent or pressure-dependent applications, can be used with electric heat, hot water valve reheat, and fan powered boxes. Features include integrated damper actuator, onboard calibrated airflow sensor, lighting control, variable user adjust, trending, afterhours override, and auto-changeover . The ASIC/1-6000 is available for pressure dependent applications using the model ASIC/1-6000-PDFor retrofit applications where the existing VAV actuator is suitable to be used, the ASIC/1-6000 is available without the integral actuator using the model ASIC/1-6000-MB or ASIC/1-6000-MB-PD (Back to top)

ASI WebLink is the web based interface for ASI control systems, delivering real-time system data to your browser. WebLink, an OPC client, can connect to OPC Servers from other control manufacturers and ODBC data sources to deliver true interoperability. Unlimited point count. Create web browser screens to show real-time data for client, building staff, tenants Log trend data, graph it in WebLink, and export raw data to Excel.  (Back to top)
